Delete your account

You can delete your Cartographer's Lie account and everything attached to it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

From inside the app

1. Open the app and go to the Record tab.
2. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete your account.
3. Read what goes and what stays, then tap Delete for ever. Your account and its data are removed straight away, and the app returns to a fresh guest state.

This works for guest accounts and for accounts linked to Sign in with Apple or Google alike. If you subscribed to the Guild, deleting your account does not cancel the subscription itself: cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before you delete, or it will continue to bill the store account it was bought with.

If you no longer have the app

Write to info@mieruconsulting.ai from the address linked to your account, or include your in-app handle or friend code, and I will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Your profile and handle, friend code, every guess and solve, solve times, ratings and rating history, streaks, season points, puzzle ratings you gave, friendships, follows, duels and blocked-player lists.

What is kept

Puzzles you published as a setter may remain available to other players, with your setter name removed, because other people are mid-solve on them and a chart is a document rather than personal data. Anonymised aggregate statistics that cannot identify you, such as a puzzle's overall difficulty score, are retained. Purchase records are held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies, as described in the privacy policy.
